The Man in the Desert

"For as long as I can remember, there was a man who lived out in the desert. Some say he is god. Others say he is a demon. There are tales of him saving villages, and myths of his ability to find water. He is a legend that, even now, is told among the children"

This is a flash fiction about a girl's meeting with 'the man in the desert.' Where no one survives out there, what secrets does he hide?

About the Author

Hi,

I'm Nobo13, I hope you enjoy reading some of my work.

The pen name Nobo13 comes from my surname. It reads like the Japanese for climb 'noboru' but it has an extra bit that resembles the number 13- hence we have Nobo13.

Additionally, the part that is 'noboru' is read as 'to publish' in Chinese, so it made sense for me to use it as a self-published author.

Other than writing or doodling away, I've found myself strumming away at ukuleles- I highly recommend getting an uke. It's something that brings a smile to a face quite easily, and is itself very pleasing.

Please check out my website, it has a lot of features and fun.
