    Wrong

Actually, yes The Kinks did in fact originally write "Better Things" but the version thats in the movie is by Fountains of Wayne. And to tell the truth, in my opinion, its a better version. And I'm a person who is usually for the originals.

I like it, great movie, soundtrack makes it spectactular!

Excellent soundtrack. Good movie too. Especially liked both variations of Fortunate Son. Better than the older version - even though that is neat too.

    Not all songs included

I was kind of disapointed that they did not put the song that was played when the president and the vicepresident are at the stage almost at the end. The name of that song is Better Things by The Kinks.
