I'm not a fan of jukebox musicals but this show and its recording are great

The Marvelous Wonderettes was a completely disarming show and the 'girl group' sound and close harmony was just fantastic. I may not be a convert to the genre, but I loved the show, and I marveled how the energy and fun translated to the recording. It's a good collection of songs and performances from two past decades -- and it doesn't take itself too seriously. The fun comes through.
