Meet the Author

I’m a wife to a future Reverend (we’re just waiting on his grades), mother of the world’s cutest kids, writer, music pedagogy teacher, and most importantly a child of the King.

I remember giving “When I Grow Up” speeches in fourth and fifth grade. Both years I said I wanted to be a writer. In High School I prayed diligently that God would give me something, (I didn’t care what) to write. It seemed like an insurmountable mountain and writing would always be a dream of mine but never a reality. Then I discovered the growing world of social networking, blogging, and of course eBooks.
I hope you’ll join me at my little corners of the internet. And you would bless my socks off if you decided to become a fan or subscriber.

Matthew 6:33 says, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This is the premise behind K M Logan's book, The Matthew 633 Teacher
, about being a Spirit-led music teacher. Logan answers every question that one would have about becoming either a self-employed music teacher or a teacher employed by a store, school, or other entity. Her book is written with much thought and care concerning both the teacher and the students. Not being a music teacher, I had not realized that there was so much involved preceding a decision to enter the world of teaching music. However, I found this book to be simple in language, engaging to the reader, and complete in the knowledge.

Logan points out that when God is the center of your life and the advisor you seek for all decisions, you will find success in your life by following His leading. She uses both Scripture and her vast span of knowledge to outline the process to parlay your love and education into a successful career. I found her book to be a valuable asset to add to your library if you are either a student of higher education or a seasoned music teacher.

I received this book free for review from the author.

This ebook covers the when, what, where, and hows of piano teach

This ebook covers the when, what, where, and hows of piano teaching, all from a biblical perspective. As a relatively new teacher, I gleaned so much from this 100+ page ebook, like how to interact with parents and students, tips for keeping students focused and excited, and tools for marketing and organization. And these guidelines aren't limited to piano teachers, as I found many helpful hints for my violin students as well. I appreciate how so many questions and ideas were thought through for the writing of this ebook. She covers as many questions as there are keys on a piano! (Well, not quite.)

    Great for New Piano Teachers!

"Matthew 6:33 Piano Teacher" is a wonderful book if one is wanting to become a piano teacher, or looking to see if teaching is something they may want to do. This book influences subjects from 'keeping the bathroom clean for their students', 'the final recital the student should perform' to 'taxes concerning piano teachers'. I give this book an 'A' because it covers all the basis' of piano teaching. It is a "must read" if there is even a consideration of being a Piano Teacher either as a career ot a part-time job.
