Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
It is the only book I recommend. My buddy Tony Gregg (The 2013 One Drop Champion) told me I should read The Mental Game of Poker on audio book, I downloaded it in the middle of June 2012 and listened to it every night over the course of the WSOP. I couldn't endorse it more, I've done interviews where people ask me what book I would recommend and that is the only book I would recommend. I couldn't agree with the philosophy of the book more. ~2012 WSOP Main Event Champion Greg Merson

My mental game is tough, and I ll tell you why. My mental game used to be terrible, I used to tilt, I used to go insane, and this is going to be a plug for Jared Tendler, he wrote a book called The Mental Game of Poker and I don t tilt any more. ~Justin Oliver, 2013 WSOP bracelet winner (Immediately after winning the $2,500 Four Max event.)

The best poker book ever written, and it's not even close. ~Lex Veldhuis, PokerStars Team Pro

TERRIBLE PURCHASE FOR ME. I have read over 2 dozen books, maybe more. This is undeniably my least favorite. It was 170 pages that could have been boiled down to about 40 pages. The writer continued to repeat the same "principles" over and over. I read it cover to cover in the hopes that it would begin to improve at some point. He did recommend writing down some notes about players, your strategy, your emotions, etc. that is the only true benefit I gleaned from this entire book. It may be enjoyable for some, but is was an enormous waste of time for me.
