    Enjoyable Read

The Message in the Transom is an enjoyable read. I found it both simple and intriguing, which is a good combination in a well flowing young mystery book. I am sending this to my niece, age 9, to read. She loves mysteries and I feel is just the right age to enjoy this. I liked the combination of roses, antiques, community activities in this book. I imagine my niece will love the friendship and collectible dolls aspect. I look forward to collecting more books in this series.
