    Ecstatically melodic

The storyline is nothing new: a magical/fantasy realm, a seeker, a maiden prisoner, prophecies, elves, dwarves, forces of good & evil, etc. But the music is the brainchild of guys (and 1 gal) from different bands - oh, and the vocals are killer, too. Highlights are "Reach Out For the Light" (featuring one of the simplest but most awesome chorus melodies ever), "Serpents in Paradise" - the breakdown is EPIC, I tell you! - "Farewell" and "The Tower," a near 10-minute track that serves as a worthy challenger to Helloween's Keeper of the Seven Keys.
