    The Middle East

I have been looking for a book on the Middle East that is historical that explains the conflicts and controversies of this area of the world that affects us all. This books is wonderful in that it states the facts from all perspectives from a historical point of view without confusing it with religious overtones as so many other books do. So many others are trying to win you to their cause and belief and this one states the facts, dates and historical figures from the beginning of time to the present. I recommend it to everyone so that they would truly understand the many people and cultures in the Middle East and value the many jewels it has given to us and still offers.
