My daughter has had colic since she was two weeks old. Just eliminating cheese and milk wasn't enough. My breastfeeding consultant recommended this book to help me eliminate all the 'hidden' milk protein from my diet and it's working! Not only does this book help you identify what not to eat, but offers substitutions (I can have 'butter' again!) and recipies to help you stick to a no milk/soy diet. Yes, you can tell they're not made with cow's milk, but the ones I've tried so far are pretty good. Also, it lists a bunch of miscellaneous stuff, like hints on eating out and information on where to get hard to find items. Hopefully I will be able to reintroduce dairy in a couple of months, but in the mean time, this book has made the difference between switching to formula and sticking with breastfeeding!
