A Door Into Reading for Fans of the Game

The Zelda games are lots of fun for adventure-bound kids and these graphic novels bring that fun to the page. I think the way the illustrations advance the story appeals to kids who are accustomed to video games. The pages are black and white; the simpler presentation can be inspiring to artists, too. They get to read backwards, as the book is printed in the Japanese format. A healthy reading "snack" for your good reader and a way to tempt the reluctant reader who likes his/her Zelda games. There's a graphic novel for many of the Zelda games.
