This prophecy has been forgotten by all but one because no one cared about it or believed that it could ever come true. How could anyone believe a prophecy that foretells the beginning of the end of all things!
Here is The Prophecy that was read by both Grenham and Indrid:
"When the ruler of Darkness shall fall, the God of Pain shall awaken, and with his armies and generals he shall seek the ones who have awakened him. Balance is required for good and evil, and he shall bring this balance to the world once again, but alike all that come before him. If he should succeed, power hungry he will become and the world he shall want."

I have read some fantasy novels before but I really liked the way this novel held on to the fantasy feel but also gave a modern aspect as well. The story begins easy to understand, a teen trying to save a girl, but as the book goes on you start to raise some questions about little things that happen. Soon you realize the things you are reading are a little more indepth then you may think.

The book is a fun and interesting take on fantasy. Begins intense and continues to puzzle you as you go while holding onto the action and comedy. All questions are answered in the end... all good i hate loose endings and from page 13 i couldn't put it down. Five stars

Because the prophecy was unbelievable, it was ignored. However one hundred years after Grenham's passing, an elder named Indrid saw the same future that was foretold in the prophecy. He too died when he was secretly assassinated by a killer; as had happened to Grenham. This prophecy has been forgotten by all but one because no one cared about it or believed that it could ever come true.
