Overview

It's the eighth inning! The Missing Marlin is book #8 in our early chapter book mystery series, where each book is set in a different American ballpark!

Mike and Kate are in Miami visiting Kate's Uncle Oliver—and the Miami Marlins ballpark, of course! Uncle Oliver is in charge of keeping the new fish tanks at the ballpark fully stocked, but strange things keep happening. Kate swears she saw an endangered sea turtle in one of the tanks. Then some of Uncle Oliver's rare fish go missing, including his favorite, Marlin. Something fishy is going on in Miami!

The Missing Marlin includes several pages of "Dugout Notes," fun facts about Miami's recently built ballpark with its homerun statue, fish tanks, and swimming pool.

Cross Ron Roy's A to Z Mystery series with Matt Christopher's sports books and you get the Ballpark Mysteries: fun, puzzling whodunits aimed at the younger brothers and sisters of John Feinstein fans.

Great read! It is nice to be back with cousins Mike and Kate solving a mystery, this time at the Miami Marlin's unique ballpark.

I need some help. I am officially being bullied. I don't want to sound depressed, because I'm not, I just need some way to get my anger out. It's not just one person. It's this big group of all the popular boys, who are all into being cool and swearing and whatnot. They just spread rumors about all the girls in my grade, and even some boys that really aren't popular but are really nice. One rumor they spread was that I make out with my BFF on my bus. I don't. That would be scary. I know you guys would suggest that I avoid them, but that is really hard to do in a school district as small as mine. They are all in my grade, most of them ride my bus, and some of them live in my subdivision. And on top of that, I just started Spring Break and my favorite brother has Influenza B. Which is extremely contagious. So he's pretty much on quarantine. And because he's sick, my ftiend from Chicago cannot come to my house, which makes me kind of mad, and my youngest brother, who is only 4 years old, is being a real jerk today, and my sister will not let me ride her hoverboard, and my dad is yelling at everyone, and my mom is upset because of that. There. I let my feelings out. Just please help me get through this week. And getting bullied. And any advice helps. I love you all!! ~Tmntlover234

Guys, it's Kai. I don't know if you guys can find this, but Chatstep is a website that I found that's good for chatting. The group name is NOOKGroup1, your username should be who you post as (ie Kai517, Jay164, Percy, etc) and the password- no spaces or capitals- is the title of this series.

It's summertime, and I have all the time that I want on this e-reader! So, I have plotted out some of what I will do over this nearly unlimited time, and shall share in these announcements.
First of all, some of my older fanfictions and stories will be getting a revamp this summer! I am working on modifying 'The Forgotten' already, and will proceed to revamp that, 'Lilies of the Night,' and more. I'm also going to see if my NOOK, the stubborn thing it is, will let me rewrite my first fanfiction, 'Clove's REAL Fate,' which was my first claim to fame.
I am working on more stories! I already planned a few more fanfictions for the summer, so get prepared to read, especially if you enjoy the Wide-Awake Princess series, The Land of Stories, or The Selection. I also have my first summer one planned and named. 'See the Light' will be at the four books at Disney Tangled results, and if it needs to spill over, I will notify.
Writer's Workshop! If you need help with writing a story, go to Ballpark Mysteries result four for help from me!
I now have three writing allies: Cyptor, Jay123, and TMNTLover234. All three, of course have stories of their own that I would highly recommend. You can find all three of them with me at Ballpark Mysteries all results.
My website has been launched, though I am not allowed on the internet much anymore. If anyone can help me by checking out the general gist of my site, linked on my not-so-often visited Twitter account, and creating a fansite based on my site, and perhaps one for each writing ally, that would be great. If that os too much work for you, I perfectly understand. Just let me know if you can, and I will give you full rights to post my stories on the site, too.
I am hoping to introduce a new author to this entire area, with fanfictions and stories through NOOK reviews. If that person agrees, and at least tries, I will be adding them to my writing ally list.
Questions or comments about my stories, or just want to chat? Go to Ballpark Mysteries result three.
