Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal
Gr 1-4-- The financial activities of Monster Club members (a group of motley monsters and one human girl) provide the vehicle for a discussion of basic money management and banking. The information is presented in dialogue balloons, which is confusing and difficult to follow. Everything is accurate, but sketchy and not well organized. The colorful drawings are garish and unimaginative; the monsters are not appealing as adorable friends or as threatening ogres. Not a wise investment. --Heide Piehler, Shorewood Public Library, WI

I loved this book, I think it is suitable for all ages becasue I used it for a middle school lesson plan about bugeting money and it worked great. I liked all the different but connected topics of learning how to use money. It was also colorful and exciting.
