    Typical MTG

As with most MTG books it had many errors. It is my opinion that the books must be rushed out due to the time constraints imposed by trying to release a book concurrently with the expansion's release. This book has some well made characters that never seem to be developed as well as they could be. I think the author probably did well under the time crunch, as this book is still enjoyble to MTG fans.

    Good but not perfect.

I'm a fan of the cards, and seeing them in book form is something anyone will enjoy. I enjoyed the intense action and an entwining story. The only down side to this book is that it feels rushed to the market and les professional (could've been better). And it's riddled with typos, but maybe that's because I nit pick a lot. All in all, it's a good book that I'd recomend to anyone who plays the game or likes a good fiction.

    Mirrodin

Great book that I could not put down. Great action, that I havn't seen in any other books. All the blood and suspense is my style. The way the story was played out was nice and how they included all the colors/types (Mountain, Forest, Plains, Island, and Swamp/ Red, Green, Blue, White, Black). The way the story ended makes you go 'What!?' and you want to find out what happens next. Great action and makes you want to read on, something that I personally cannot do. After reading a chapter, I usually am tired from reading but after reading a chapter in this book, I'm excited about what happens next from the suspense. A must read for Magic players and Fantasy book lovers. However, there are some number of typos in the book which is funny in my mind.

    a reviewer

The book was kind of slow in the beginning but picked up steam about 1/4 way into it. The storyline was interesting, but the ending left me wondering.

    Great Book!

This has to be one of my favorite books. Once I started it I couldn't put it down. I recommend this book to anyone who likes the game or who just wants to read a great fantasy book. It also ends with a outstanding cliff hanger that makes you want to read the next books.

Moons of Mirrodin (Magic: The Gathering: Mirrodin Cycle Book I)

The Moons of Mirrodin - what a great story line with a realy good cliff hanger at the end of the book. I gave this a five star rating because it was one of the best aventure books I ever read. I think that Glissa, Slobad and Bosh are the perfect crime fighting team in this Magic The Gather book. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys adventure fantasy novels.

    A Great Book to read.

I started reading this book two nights ago, and im already done with it. Once you start reading the book its hard to put down. I cant wait to start the second one. The book follows the game card pack Mirrodin very well.

    Great Book

Moons of Mirrodin was a great way to start off the Mirrodin Cycle. The author stays true to the card game and the characters in involved. A great buy for anyone, Magic fan or not. Can't wait to read the next part, Darksteel Eye.

    Shines Like the Glimmervoid

This was the first Magic book that I read and it was amazing. Despite the fact that I ran out at 9:45 at night to get it, it was worth it. I have many Mirrodin cards and McDermott fully captures the idea of Mirrodin through Glissa Sunseeker. I hope that McDermott continues to write for Magic, especially the rest of the books for the Mirrodin block. 5 stars!

Personally, I thought this book was excellent.

This is a great book. It's true to the Magic series, and I think you'll enjoy it even if you don't know what an elf or veldalken is. It has decent character development, even if it's not a really big change(ex., Slobad) It may be slightly...ahem, very, graphic at some parts, but not sick-to-your-stomach graphic. It has a very deep and interesting story, and it definately keeps you guessing.

    It gets a C....

Mcderrmott failed to live up to Judgement standards, telling us only Glissa's side of everything, not giving us any feel of structure, just these random characters running for their lives.
