A nice illustrated children's story ... book in hard cover published by Parent's Magazine Press in 1974. The story is based on fact. The man Henry David Thoreau who from 1845 to 1847 lived in a small cabin he built on the shore of Walden Pond in Concord, Massachusetts. He wrote in his memoirs of a female mouse that lived in his cellar that would share his lunches and listen to him plan his flute. Nicely illustrated thru-out. Near fine, clean and solid condition.
