About the Author

Ann Malaspina is an award-winning author who has written books on everything from history and current events to the environment and social justice. She is a former journalist who has her MFA degree in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Ann lives with her family in New Jersey.

Jenny Sylvaine is French. She was born into a family of artists. An illustrator of children's books, Sylvaine has also worked on video games and on cartoons as a set creator. She has enjoyed drawing and painting in public, alongside storytellers and musicians. Her creativity is influenced by memories of her childhood, when she spent her time looking at everything and dreaming.
