The Mousetrap And Other Plays- 4 of 5 Stars!

This is coming from a 7th grader with high expectations for books. In this book, Agatha Christie, the Queen of Crime works her awe-inspiring mystery powers to combine 8 extraordinary tales of murder into one mind bending novel. The stories flow and don't intertwine information. You most likely won't mix up characters, with much detail and spectacular description, you won't want to put the book down. With classics like "Ten Little Indians" and "The Mousetrap" Christie has really outdone herself in this novel. With murders pushed by passion, or lies in court because of love, this is an awesome book. In other words, Dame Agatha Christie holds up her title as "Queen of Crime".

    Chistie's Best

This is a wonderful collection of Agatha Christie's plays of suspense. It is no wonder why The Mousetrap is the longest running play in history since it has you on the edge of your seat throughout it's almost-impossible-to-solve plot. In the story of Ten Little Indians the ending was changed for the worst in my opinion, even though this new ending doesn't change the plot at all. For this story I would reccomend you read the book. As for the other stories they are excellent if you like mystery/suspense or just Agatha Christie. In some of the stories Hercule Poirot was the main detective, but in the play version of the story he was taken out. And you won't miss him!!! In conclusion wonderful plays from a wonderful writer.
