Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Most kids have mixed emotions about moving. This book is designed to help children work through and reconcile feelings of anxiety, sadness and fear. It provides plenty of activities to help kids focus on the positive side of moving and carries over into the actual move, settling in, and keeping in touch with friends. The book even contains an address section and postcards that kids can send to their friends. This would be a very useful book for the 10 million kids who move every year.

Take the Mystery out of Moving

As a Realtor (as well as a mom who has relocated her family NINE times over the years), I always purchase this book for clients moving long distance. Children may not always be "on board" for an event such as this, but this wonderfully researched book gets them involved and takes some of the scariness out of the process.
