The best novel by far for this writer.

the midlife problem of the main character are well developed. The fly fishing segments are true to form and the golf in Montana is hilareous.

    Great Summer Read

My librarian recommended this book to me and I was not disappointed. Jorgenson's style is such that the characters and locations seem to jump right off the page. The story of making your own way for a second time is full of sorrow and hope and gives an insightful look into the human experience and what it means to be happy. This book is definitely worth a read.

    Good, not great book

A simple, easy read. Too many references to Lonesome Dove.

    A must read

The Mulligan is one of my favorite books of the year. Everyone imagines what it would be like to call in sick at work...permanently. Joe Mix, the main character actually does just that. We get to go along on his journey, as he rediscovers HIMSELF. The Mulligan is filled with memorable characters and plot, WOW. I can hardly wait to see what Nathan Jorgenson has in store for us in his next book.
