The Multiple Perspectives of Me
The Multiple Perspectives of Me is a raw, lyrical collection of short stories and poetry that chronicles one young woman's survival, healing, and spiritual awakening in the shadows of the City of Angels. With stunning vulnerability, the author exposes the fragmented truths of her early twenties. From battling eating disorders, surviving emotional manipulation, navigating narcissistic abuse, and enduring the deep, silent wounds left by assault.

Told through multiple personas, the performer, the survivor, the spiritual seeker, this book transcends genre. It is not just memoir, nor simply poetry. It is a reckoning. A reclamation of voice and soul through fragmented narrative, memory, and metaphysical reflection.

Each piece invites the reader into intimate moments of despair and resilience, from the blood-stained floors of addiction and betrayal to the sacred moments of clarity and transformation. Themes of inner child healing, self-love, karmic patterns, and feminine strength echo through its pages.

At once haunting and beautiful, The Multiple Perspectives of Me is for anyone who has ever felt lost, voiceless, or too broken to begin again and yet somehow still did. It is a brave offering from a woman discovering her own light in a city that often celebrates only the shadow.

About the Author

Dakota Robbins is a storyteller and performer whose work weaves poetry and personal narrative into powerful expressions of survival and self-discovery. Born with a fire to express and a heart wired for feeling deeply, she began writing as a form of release and a way to reclaim her voice after years of silence.

In her twenties, she found herself unraveling and reassembling in the City of Angels, where beauty and brutality often coexist. Her debut collection, The Multiple Perspectives of Me, is a raw reflection of that journey, one marked by trauma, transformation, and a return to self.

When she isn’t writing, she works as an actress, content creator, and creative visionary. Her art aims to challenge, awaken, and remind others that even in the darkest chapters, healing is possible and our stories are worth telling.
