    Normally, I don't go for the colorful, artsy, hippy-dippy lookin

    Normally, I don't go for the colorful, artsy, hippy-dippy looking books, but I always give them a look-see, mostly for train-wreck purposes. The Muse is In: NOT a trainwreck. There's some very good advice, and a lot of humor going on in this book for creative people, or those who want to be creative, but don't know how to begin, middle, or not-end. The advice is practical as well as whimsical, and the daily exercises are actually interesting. Very glad I picked up this book.
