Children's Literature - Kristi Bernard
Jack and Jaide Shield are psychic twins. Their main guardian is Grandma X, a Warden of Portland who is secretly protecting the world from The Evil, a terrible force from another dimension. Someday Jack and Jaiden will become Wardens, too, but they are too young now and their powers are unpredictable. Unfortunately for the twins, their next adventure will happen without the help of Grandma X. She was in a car accident and ended up in the hospital and put on heavy medicines. The twins’ father shows up and wants them to find the Card of Translocation, but they are not the only ones looking for it and its source of power. Their task is to search the Rourke Castle. The owner, Master Rourke, would not be any help since he died under mysterious circumstances. The twins get to investigate the castle with their old friends Rodeo, Dave, and Tara. They discover the castle is like a museum with hidden rooms and secret places to hide. There are even peepholes in paintings. Solving this mystery is bringing more questions than answers. How will the twins find the Card? Will they find it before The Evil? Authors Garth Nix and Sean Williams have done a great job putting together the third book in the “Troubletwisters” series. Readers will find plenty of twists and turns while venturing through this fast paced read. Parent and teachers will approve. Reviewer: Kristi Bernard; Ages 12 up.

These are some of the best books i've ever read. Everytime i finish a book i'm waiting anxiously for the next one to come out. Of course the plot seems a little bit repeted and is some what predictable, but you hardly notice when you're hooked on such great books!
