Overview

Volume two of Tooth & Nail's label comp series continues to promote its roster of urgent pop-punksters, refined alternative CCM types, those lying prostrate under the frayed emo flag, and the occasional left-field experimenter. Further Seems Forever contributes "Someone You Know" from this '04 effort Nail, Vol. 2; Hawk Nelson, UnderOath, and FM Static throw down the pop-punk gauntlet; the very "Games Without Frontiers"-ish Joy Electric track "Song For All Time" is darn nice; and everything else is pretty standard for the label's sound. Those familiar with it will see this comp as a budget sampler of some of their faves, while it serves Tooth & Nail rookies as a label abstract.
