A great resource for professional nannies, beginning nannies as well as parents!

This book is a great resource of knowledge. Whether you have been a nanny for 1 year to 18 plus years, you can learn something new from it. I especially like the Professional Nanny Plan. I have started using it in my new position and it is very helpful. The online classes that go along with the book are invaluable as well. Parents should get a copy of this book for every nanny they have in their house! The book is packed full of knowledge for a reasonable amount of money! For under 20 dollars you have a wealth of knowledge for your career of being a professional nanny. It assists in aiding someone from recognizing a childhood illness to dealing with contract negotations.

    Truly the best!

This is the best book for nannies. As the editor of a monthly publication for nannies I refer to the author for the best expert advice in the nanny industry. It's a must read. It really is the best! An essential for nannies who take pride in being the most important person the family they work for will ever hire!

    A great Nanny resource

I have learned alot from this book about being a nanny. I first used it back in 1993 when I attended my first Nanny school and am now using it again in 2003 as I attend the Professional Online Class as a refreasher. This reinforces what we know and reminds us the stuff we have forgotten. It is a wealth of knowledge for all childhood stages and teaches us how to be the best Nanny possible to our charges.

An absolute must have for the serious, career minded nanny!

This book, along with the online nanny courses, which go hand in hand, have been truly educational for me! I've been in childcare for almost 6 years now, and a nanny for close to one year, and I've found myself incorporating the lessons and techniques learned both in class and in the book, in my daily interactions with my charges. This textbook is an absolute MUST have for any nanny who is looking to make a long term career out of caring for children!
