Well written, well read, incredible amount of information

This audio presentation of Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan's wonderful book is incredibly informative. It takes the listener through the history of America's National Parks from the beginning and illustrates the political and social changes necessary to establish the park system we now have.

For a non-history-buff like myself, this was an amazing amount of information written and read in a syle I enjoyed and learned from.

Almost Like Being in a National Park

Lovely CD. The folks playing on this are great musicians, with a real ear for what works to set a mood (although I'd prefer less of the piano). Pettway & White are superb!
