Dae Soen Sa Nim Zen Master Master Chang Sik Kim is an award winning author of 17 poetry books that have been translated into six different languages. His book, Great Nature, Poems for All of Nature was awarded the 2014 Special Literature Award by International PEN Korean Center. His poetry reflects an acute perception of how all things of the natural world and those things created by man, animate and inanimate, that exist on our planet and throughout the universe are interconnected. Through his imagery, Zen Master Kim imparts interactive stories to remind us about the essence of human life and existence.

Shim Gum Do Founding Master Great Zen Master Chang Sik Kim is the 79th Patriarch of his Dharma lineage. His is the Founder of the Zen Buddhist martial art Shim Gum Do, which means Mind Sword Path. The practice of Shim Gum Do combines mediation and action meditation to develop clear mind, clear thinking and clear action.
