These are original Sherlock Holmes stories, written for the radio, that were inspired from smaller events that occured in the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle stories. And who can resist Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce? Who indeed! The settings for all of the stories take place during the Victorian and Edwardian periods.

This was great. It's original recordings from the Sherlock Holmes radio program in the 1940s. It actually has the original cheesy ads from the 40s, along with requests for the audience to buy war bonds and go into the army, etc. etc. The stories themselves are great - pefect for car drives or rainy days. If you like Sherlock Holmes or mysteries you'll like this.
