The author has good ideas but too many are thrown together in the one story. You get there was a war, but then it is only mentioned in passing. Then trouble with townspeople, but then its bypassec. Then rival packs, then a disgruntled brother. The relationships were a hastily thought out and don't add much to the story. The timeline goes weird. At one point it said it had been 4 months since an incident occured, but several paragraphs later it says 2 years. The events just don't make a sense of time. I think if this was just a story of Jacob and his growth it would be fine. The sex scenes don't offer much and are distracting.

I love this series... Yes it does have typos, but I could read right past them.. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.. Jacob is an awesome Alpha and his pack is wonderful..

See spot run, see Jack run, run Jill run. He said, she said, they said. Come on, first graders do not read this book. Really needs some life put in it. Very glad it was free. Could have been a pretty good book otherwise.

I liked the story. It needs to be edited to many left out or wrong words. I agree with the previous person posting at one point the timeline does not make since. The sex scene could have been left out, it didn't really fit.
