Overview

Color NOOK users - our picture books are best viewed in their largest form. Tap the bottom of your screen for menu that says: content....text.... THEN tap on text. On that menu choose the largest picture choice (3rd from right) and our books will be seen at their best.

Little Maurice Happy and Chubby Chicken go to school singing a happy bus song - “We ride the bus to school (jiggle on the bus seat), We ride it home and then (jiggle on the bus seat), We ride it up to the top of the hill (hand motions up), and right back down again (hand motions going down)....” This is sung to the tune of the Farmer in the Dell. All the young readers can sing along. The Bus for Happy School is a fun way to learn the rules of riding safely on the school bus. Rhyming pages with bright pictures enthrall young readers. Bill the Bus Driver tells them the rules and Chubby Chicken is hiding on every page. Kids get to see some buses that are different, like the bus with the platform that comes down so a wheel chair can get onto the bus, and the Kneeling Bus that “kneels” so students can easily get on at their bus stop. Street signs, bus drills, activity pages make this 36 page eBook lots of fun. There are also standards based Lesson Plans for teachers to use with their class. It is available as an eBook on BarnesAndNoble.com for 99¢, and as a $2.00 download to print on your printer at lulu.com where the paperback version can also be ordered. On both sites search Chris Morningforest for all the titles. Keep checking our books - Chris is loading them as fast as she can - we have over 100 titles!!
