Overview

IN THE NEW CHINESE ASTROLOGY, Suzanne White has revised and updated all forecasts, calendars and has updated all the famous people with their Chinese signs. The revised book is still brilliant It's both informative and uncannily accurate.

WORLD-famous astrologer and bestselling author, Suzanne White, demystifies the complexities of the Chinese Zodiac. This fun-to-read volume describes each animal sign's individual characteristics, special capabilities, and particular health problems. Anecdotes about the people she knows of each sign pepper her crackling, jaunty prose. White also explains in depth how the Chinese element which rules your year affects your individual animal sign. Discover the terrible Fire Tiger's inimitable charms and glaring foibles. Find out why Earth Rats get married so often and why Water Goats make perfect hippies. Even learn why Wood Oxen should avoid spicy foods! Not necessary to know the hour or place of birth, all you need is a date of birth to figure out which Chinese animal sign is yours - or someone else's.

This charming book is lifetime reference. It reveals how people of the various signs combine and relate to one another as friends, lovers and colleagues. Suzanne White explains which matches are truly harmonious--and which unions could be a recipe for disaster. She outlines which celebrities were born under the various signs, and offers valuable advice for improving our destinies. Best of all, THE NEW CHINESE ASTROLOGY predicts what the upcoming years bode for you, your friends, and even your enemies!

Lively, accessible, and witty, this book is full of invaluable advice. Whether you're a seasoned expert or merely curious about your own or loved ones' Chinese animal signs, Suzanne White's NEW CHINESE ASTROLOGY is an indispensable tool for those seeking a higher understanding of human nature.

Editorial Reviews

Internet - Bill Butler
The book divides us humans into twelve categories. Each
category corresponds to an animal. Then we are all divided into five more categories. These are wood, fire, earth, metal, and
water. So all of humanity is divided into sixty categories.
If I can be serious for a moment, which isn't easy sometimes,
this is a very good book for business and human relationships.
It is not the definitive book on business and human relationships. It has to be used properly. In a fashion to un

Those who are cranky about the lack of technical astrology in White's books should keep in mind that a reading is only as good as the interpreter! White obviously knows people and personalities, and her opinion is what I paid the money for. If you want a manual, for heaven's sake, by a darned manual.
But if you want a ready and accurate reference to your personal astrological tendencies or someone else's, this is a very worthwhile and absorbing volume. I have her "New Astrology" book and lik

This book was terrific as I have read other books on Chinese Astrology in the past, have some even, and the way Suzanne White broke down even the signs, gives more meaning to the signs. At times in the past when meeting someone who is for example a Dog Chinese Astrology sign, they may not seem like someone else I know with the same sign, now I know why! This book is a terrific reference book to have on hand for anyone who reads up on Chinese Astrology.

Meet the Author

I am American, but I live in France. I have been been a college professor, a fashion model, a journalist, an interpreter, a novelist, a fireworks salesperson, director of a Parisian Couture boutique, an elevator operator, a shoe salesperson, a single mother and a simultaneous translator. Best thing I ever did was write books.
I have mostly lived in Paris my whole adult life. I have two grown children who were born in Paris. We all three speak a bunch of languages. Daisy lives in Los Angeles. Autumn in Paris.

By 1970, I had tired of teaching, modeling and translating. So I began writing articles for women's magazines. My first article appeared in Cosmopolitan in 1971. Then, in 1973, I wrote a novel called Ladyfingers. It was published by a big New York publisher. I was proud and pleased to actually be able to earn a living being "a writer". I wanted to go on writing stories, but my literary agent decided I should write non fiction. I balked at first. But when I did she said, "Novels are risky. They might sell. They might not. If you only write novels, your children will starve." She gave me a choice between Cooking and Astrology. I chose the latter, providing I could write about Chinese Astrology - the animal signs. By 1975 I had published my first book about Chinese Astrology. By now, I have written four best-selling books about Chinese and western Astrology. My readers have dubbed me "The High Priestess". That is flattering. I love email and I adore being on Facebook and Twitter where I can actually talk to readers one on one. It's a luxury for an author to be able to communicate directly with the people who read her books. Long Live The Internet! Contact me for a reading. Or just for fun at . Or come be my friend on Facebook!
