You'll also find an updated introduction and materials section. The book divides crafts into four themed sections: Imagine and Create, Wear and Use, Make and Play and Decorate and Celebrate, making it easy for kids, parents and teachers to find the perfect craft for a special day, a special person or just for fun.

Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Carly Reagan
Restless hands will be kept busy and construction paper will be flying off the shelves as children make their way through the many crafty projects presented with simple, easy-to-follow instructions. From pipe cleaner glasses to tissue box dollhouses, the variety of ideas is likely to appeal children who have many different kinds of interests. Most of the projects require very few materials, and often use items that would otherwise be thrown away, such as paper towel rolls or plastic food containers, providing creative ways to recycle them. The crafts are separated into four categories: Imagine and Create, Wear and Use, Make and Play, and Decorate and Celebrate. With a contents section at the beginning, listing each craft by title, and a general index in the back categorized by items used in or type of craft, finding a project to keep children entertained on a rainy day is quite an easy task. Though instructions are helpful, encourage children to use their own imagination and resourcefulness with their projects, and let them explore the possibilities so that they may create something truly unique.
