I've been teaching Hebrew for over 35 years now and tried lots of newer, more graphically enticing texts, but I still return to The New Reading Hebrew for both children and adults. An adult can learn to decode Hebrew in a few hours of concentrated study, and children get consistent positive reinforcement that makes the process as painless as possible. For non-computer study, I depend on this program.
