THE N.R.S.V. is a very literal word-for-word translation that is easy to read. The books of the Apocrypha are those that were removed in the late 17th Century, some would say arbitrarily. Mainline churches and some Evangelistic ones are beginning to use these books again in their sermons and teachings. Because it has the Apocryphal books, it can be used in any Christian church in the world. One drawback is the print is very small so it might be hard to read if you are near or far-sighted without reading glasses. Hopefully there will be a version with larger print next time.
