If you do crossword puzzles, especially the New York Times, this can be really helpful. If you don't, but need special words in your personal or professional writing, this can also be helpful.

Like all crossword dictionaries, this one can take some getting used to. Every one we have (roughly 6 or 7), seem to have different philosophies on what the user wants and how to present it. And while I prefer the prices of paperback dicrionaries to that of hardbound, they tend to fall apart after the use we give them.
