    A great read! Smart and engaging.

    The characters in this book are people we all know. They haunt our past and shadow our present. Their lives sneak up behind us and remind us of who we are. Wilson's prose is gripping and poignant. Its depth and resonance beautifully captures us. A smart and wonderful read!

    Exquisite prose

    Astonishing stories, carefully crafted, sentences and paragraphs to savor like the elements of an exquisite meal. Many of the stories have cinematographic qualities. A must read.
