    Tremendous Resource!

William Mounce has once again provided us with a most helpful resource for study of the New Testament. If you at least know the Greek alphabet, this excellent work will allow you to use any commentary on the Greek text available. This work has allowed me to easily use commentaries that I once only dreamed of using (Word Biblical Commentary, New International Greek Testament Commentary and International Critical Commentary to name a few). Mounce has another work, 'Greek for the Rest of Us' that is due in Fall 2001, which will aid in better understanding how to use The NIV English-Greek NT. I love this guy! There is a very helpful preface and a section on general guidelines that will get you started. Appendix A 'Detailed Guidelines' is almost a junior basic Greek course for those who know ~some~ Greek. Appendix B changes the GK numbers to Strongs if you need it. A fantastic work that will change the way you study God's word! Dr. Mounce, thank you so very much!!
