    "Awesome"

This is one of the best nonfiction books I've ever read. With both design and type books in one, the deluxe edition is embarrassingly rich in content. Author Robin Williams makes the claim that you'll never look at type in the same way and she's right. I'm a full-time professional author and independent publisher and feel this book should be compulsory reading for any aspiring writer or publisher. One of the many astonishing revelations is how fonts that are too similar will cause your eyes to "twitch." If this happens it's almost certain that the two fonts in question are too similar in style. This can occur, for example, when a book's title font and subtitle font are too similar. The remedy: Make sure there is enough contrast between two fonts. It's genius. Brandon Royal, award-winning educational author and author of The Little Blue Reasoning Book
