    Family Favorite

I have used (an edition) of this book for over 20 years. Have made very many of the recipes. Several recipes are now family staples; we make them regularly. I have given this book as gifts many times.

    Italian Home Cooking

I have had this book for several years. I buy it for every new bride in the family. This is very simple, traditional Italian cooking. The recipes are excellent. I especially recommend the stuffed calamari. This is a cookbook worth cooking your way through!

    My "Go To" Italian Cookbook

The recipes is this book have never failed me. There are a couple in particular that we've made over and over and over. The Osso Bucco and Seafood Fra Diavolo are our favorites. I'll always remember having the Osso Bucco at Dom's in the North End (now closed) and thinking it was the best I'd ever had. Then to open this book and find Dom's recipe, I felt like I'd hit the jackpot. What's great too is that there is a nice story that goes along with many of the recipes. This book sits on my shelf next to the Batali cookbook as my two favorites.
