This was a fun book, a great value for a $0.99 book. The ebooking is a little rough: lots of 3/4 symbols scattered through the book.
This is a good story but needs editing as some sentences are not complete and others are interspersed with the 3/4 symbol in place of quote marks. Still, you can get the gist of the story. It has a great hero and heroine who are both flawed in their own way, but each is just perfect for the other because they put the other first before themselves.
I love a good trad Regency and based on the previous reviews (and the 99 cent price) I decided to take a chance on this one. What a wonderful surprise! I loved this story about two people who appear at first to have nothing in common, until each reveals a secret about their pasts. I also appreciate that the story centers on the romance, so if you like sexual encounters between your H and h, you won't find it here. One last note: I did not find any of the symbols/conversion errors mentioned in other reviews, so perhaps B&N or the publisher fixed them. All in all, this is a wonderfully romantic story. I hope to read other books by this author.
