    The poetry in this novella was its only saving grace. The story

    The poetry in this novella was its only saving grace.
    The story revolves not around a writer finding her way, but around Laura making excuses for why she  won't write.
    It was never clear to me why Laura  felt compelled to accept the challenge from someone she interacts with only through Twitter (and the story makes it fairly clear that Laura isn't sure either).
    The previous reviews I had read led me to believe that this story would give me insight into a writer's process; but what if offered was a poet's excuses as to why she wasn't able/willing to write a novel.
