Although the book is dated, being written in the 60's, it is very enjoyable and is a fun trip back to the innocent 60's. Surprisingly, it reminded me of the early Rabbit books by John Updike, the male characters having similar characteristics. Alison Lurie is a talented writer whose work deserves reading.
