Overview

There’s something new on the sudoku scene—and it’s bound to capture the attention of word lovers. Wordoku follows the same basic principles as sudoku, except that solvers fill the grid with nine letters. Under each grid, the letters for that puzzle appear, in a pronounceable anagram. Then, just like the original, you have to arrange them so that every letter appears in every column, every row, and every 3x3 box just one time: anyone, including non-English speakers, can do that. But unlike sudoku, the fun doesn’t end there: buried inside the grid, you’ll also find the answer to the anagram. (In some cases, to make it tougher, the anagram actually has TWO possible solutions.) It’s brainbusting, entertaining, and irresistible.

    Grids

I would have given it five stars if it had different grids to choose from.

    Move over Sudoku

This is awesome! I was getting sick of counting to 9 and in reverse. The books started to get too easy..black belt too! Worduko is great for the Scrabble lovers and Suduko lovers. You are trying to figure out what the word might be while solving the puzzling- anagraming and sudokuing (so not a real word! oops!) Much more captivating than the normal sudoku puzzles. More mental awareness needed for this!

    Nice twist on Sudoku

This is a great twist on Sudoku. I try to do it without assigning numbers to the letters and solve is as an oridnary Sudoku puzzle, but it's not that easy, since the letters is actually a scrambled word or phrase.
