I love this book so much! I read this book because I love pokemon so much! When I read it I learned so much more than I could learn from the show or the video games. It made me want to read more and never put it down till I read every single word of pokemon information. I would recommend this book to pokemon fans or people that just want to learn more about pokemon. So if you like suprises, intristing facts, and some helpful hints about the video game, read this book! But no one will love it as much as I did!

okay so I just can't stop reviewing this great book.in the front their is a lot of advice on:the poke-balls the capture the battle basics why to battle the face off choosing the best pokemon for the job and there is a note which says:healh and energy do not automatically return to the pokemon just because you capture it.you'll have to take care of your poke freind before it can fight for you.oh how could I forget in the book the pokemon have color's to represent their element like:fire is red poison is purple and ground is brown.so for example charizard would be red.gravler would be brown.and only a two elemantel pokemon like bulbasaur would have green (for grass) and purple (for poison).

well here is some more.I think Maria s. barbo is a really great writer.on the sides of the front cover you will see pokemon but on the south west corner you will see snorlax sleeping on a rectangle with the word scholastic so now you know that this book is educational.in the top ten ways you will find all the cures for pokemon all the badges for pokemon to obey you and last and most important all the vitamins that pokemon need.there's a checklist that has all 150 pokemon.

well here we go again part 2. on the front there's a really cool pikachu the illustrations are so clear that your child might find it amazing this book is hours and hours of fun your child will soon be in the world of pokemon.on one of the first pages it has a pokedex that says:pokemon licence this is to certify that ---------------------------------------------has been officialy recognized as a pokemon trainer by the pokemon league.a complete guide to the original 150 pokemon charactars.let me give you the secret fact on the back of the book:did you know that the swirl on poliwags stomach changes direction when it evolves into poliwhirl.when you get the book you can also read the training tip in the back.there's also a quick way to know the evoulution there are circles with pictures of pokemon in them 1.is the pokemon that will evolve 2.is the one that 1.evolved into.

every night before bedtime I read it.first it tells you pronunciation of the name.then element.and then the type.then height and weight.then the techniqes that it knows.then the techniqes your able to teach it.then the book tells you what it's good against then what its bad against.what level it evolves at and what kind of evouloution it has.some pages even have pokedex picks if you want to know what those are i'll give you a bit of a sneak preview it's a training tip you need to know if you want to be the worlds greatest pokemon master.on every page there are some secrets about that pokemon.in the back there are some frequently asked questions and great answers to them.in the front professer oak has something to tell you for your pokemon journey that will help you a lot.there's a map of the whole pokemon world from pallet town to creulean city from saffron city to cinnabar island its all here.and also there's the top ten ways to treat your poke-friends but I am going to make one more way with love care honesty pride and especialy with freedom
