I love the Farmer's Almanac & was so excited to see it offered for the Nook. One of the main reasons I get it is for the calendar pages. The Nook edition is missing the calendar pages. Am really sad about that.

I love the farmers alminac. Buy it every year. The stories, articles, pictures, charts, all of it. Too bad i didnt get half of that with the nook version. The nook version was a waste of money & a real disappointment. Cant wait to pick up a real copy from the book store.

I buy the Old Farmer's Almanac annually. I like the articles and recipies, but I buy it for the fishing charts and astonomy charts. If you want to read the stories or ads, buy this Ebook. If you want to be able to read the charts, tables, recipies, and other things that make an ALMANAC an almanac, DO NOT BUY THIS EBOOK. The Charts and tables (and recipie ingrediants) are all scanned in and mostly unreadable! In one frustrating case, the first (example) chart can be enlarged on my Nook Color, but none of the following charts can be. Basically the book is full of gibberish drawings (except for the text)

There are no calendar pages in the nook book version. Buy the paperback - the calendar pages are the very essence of the Old Farmer's Almanac.

This should be an annual purchase for everyone! The Farmer's Almanac is jammed full of great bits of information you won't find anywhere else! It belongs in every household in the country!

I love reading Almanacs and this one has a lot of great information in it. I got it as an eBook for my new Kindle Fire and the 'pages' are easy to read and have a ton of information on how to get free stuff or things really cheap.I'm not sure if this comes out yearly but some of the information was outdated since it was 2 years old. The book has an interesting fact, about someone or something in history for each day of the week, all the holidays we observe in the US and nationally and the dates, freebies, fun places to go for vacations, food festivals and more.

wish i'd read the reviews first. the main part of the book i use the most is the charts and tables, that are unreadable in this book. Save your money and buy on off the stand.

I have spent years buying this for my father for Christmas. He enjoys this so much. This year I bought the Farmers Almanac for my Nook and now we both have copies that we can use all year. This was great.
