Personally, I really loved this! He's an excellent writer and my eyes rarely strayed from the page. The story is intriguing and comes to life with his nicely picked words and raw emotion; I really wish that he would write a sequel(or something!) because the ending was very abrupt. But I still loved this book and would recommend it to about anyone!

This was a very good story. Kind of sad and good in the end. It made me cry a little.

Strange tale of an old warrior in a war-torn wirld who comes abot to save a young girl. Very touching considering the nightmares they face.

it was a good book for as short it was but the end left me hanging. but I might have missed something in there

This is a great short read with lots of build. But it should be made into a full length novel. This story shows so much promise , but leaves you nashing your teeth with the open ending.

This book kept my attention! Very well written. The only thing I didn't like was that the ending is very abrupt and hanging.

The author can go so many ways with this. This story's purpose seems to be just to introduce the characters and establish the bond between them. I am almost certain a prolific novel with these characters in this universe is forthcoming. Wonderful short story. I cannot wait to read more from this author

This book is a short story only 65pg., but was worth the time. Reminds me of the movie "The Professional". The ending left ya wanting a sequel.

I downloaded this just because looking for something to read and found it a very pleasant story with very artistic descriptions. The ending does leave you desiring a little more but your imagination in some ways concludes the story. I would recommmend this story to anyone.

I did not expect just the beginning of a story. It felt incomplete that my imaination had to complete the story instead.

Interesting story. I liked the way the story was written and layed out. The ending was especially nice. One of the possibilities that crossed my mind as a possible explanation is he will be reborn as her son.

I felt like it took me back to a simpler time when I started getting into reading. I liked it but I felt like the ending was a little weak. Great for free and worth the read.
