Can I tell you a secret?

If you are reading this right now, you have solemnly sworn to keeping this a secret. If you haven't, you might as well go. But here it is: when I grow up, I want to be an Olympic swimmer. There. But I have my own story, too. Here it goes: so I was a little girl, aged one and a half, when my mom first put me in a pool. And right there, I was exactly a Michael Phelps in a little girl's body. I swam as often as possible, and I could never leave a pool. But one day, an undertow caught me and I was taken under. My little sister watched helplessly; she was only two. Mom was oblivious to all the splashes coming from the deep end where I was. Finally, a small peep came out, and mom saved me. But ever since then, I always grew tense around water. Every time I went to swimming lessons, I had that image in my head and started freaking out. I was scared about my favorite sport. I was afraid. I never felt comfortable around water. I just didn't feel as safe and secure as when I was young, before the accident. But this summer, at age eleven, I accepted Jesus into my heart, and he's helped me grow stronger. If you have a question or comment, please reply to 'KNHOlympics' Thanks
