The One in the Many: Christian Identity in a Multicultural Worldby Thomas R. Thompson, Glandion W. Carney, Joel A. Carpenter, Justo L. Gonzalez, David A. Hoekema
Copublished with the Calvin Center for Christian Scholarship, this collection of essays is both compelling and timely: compelling because it comes from a Christian college struggling to make multiculturalism a reality, timely because it allows Christian academics to join the national and international discourse on the meaning of cultural diversity. The authors present a range of viewpoints but they share a desire to communicate about what is, and what should be, as Christians engage multiculturalism.
