The One thing...in 30 minutes," gives great insight to Kell

The One thing...in 30 minutes," gives great insight to Keller's book. Some points that really fascinated me to hear were: J.K. Rowling knew 7 books would be written, before even starting the Harry Potter series. Or how about Michael Phelps being diagnosed with ADHD like so many other children in today's society, yet he holds the record for most Olympic Medals. All these people had found their "One Thing." And just like Keller advised, not only does the "One Thing" need to be found, but then prioritizing and really focusing your energy and taking time out of each day to go back that "One Thing." To not lose sight of your goals seems fairly simple...a person will not just forget what they're passions are. However, how easy is it for the average person who has multiple jobs (career, family, health, etc.) to become side-tracked. Keller is just reiterating how normal we are, to make this common mistake. It is not only about finding that "One Thing," but to prioritize and focus in on it, to really achieve at your fullest potential.

We do have the power to change our lives which lies in the choices we make every day about how we will respond to things that happen to us. Gary Keller’s book, “The One Thing in 30 minutes” which is an comprehensive review of “The One Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results”, tackles the question of how we go about changing our lives through simply narrowing our focus down to changing one thing at a time. For those of us who truly want to live meaningful lives Keller breaks down the role that purpose, priority, and productivity play in our decisions to ensure that possibility becomes a reality. I highly suggest this book for someone looking for a simple yet insightful practical means to reaching their overall goals while living with more purpose and meaning.

It took a little longer than 30 minutes for me to read this but it was still a decent review. It provided the highlights of The One Thing in a simple format without all of the anecdotes that take up so much valuable time. I love anecdotes, but my day doesn’t always allow for that much reading. This book is a pretty good read if you want to have the key points spelled out for you so you can move on to applying them. It gets a little redundant at times, but that just means you can skip those paragraphs (and perhaps actually read it in 30 minutes exactly.)

    Dear Reader,

While it is often said that imitation is the highest form of flattery, we have an obligation to comment on this book because it bears a striking resemblance to “The One Thing” by Gary Keller with Jay Papasan.

Anyone who didn't know better would be tempted to think that there was some connection between “The One Thing in 30 Minutes” and the best-selling book “The One Thing,” but let us assure you, there is none. Unfortunately, we've already heard from many individuals who have made this very mistake. Please be advised that by purchasing “The One Thing in 30 Minutes” you are purchasing what is essentially a review of “The One Thing,” not the book itself.

To be clear: This book is not a part of The One Thing series. Gary Keller and Jay Papasan, Rellek, and Keller Williams have absolutely no affiliation with “The One Thing in 30 Minutes” or its author and do not directly or indirectly endorse this book.

This review is not intended to comment on the merits of The 30 Minute Expert Series. We trust Barnes and Nobles's open system of reviews will reveal whether this book has value for readers interested in this topic.

    Sincerely,

¿The Expert Guide to Gary Keller¿s The One Thing ... in 30 minut

“The Expert Guide to Gary Keller’s The One Thing ... in 30 minutes,” introduces the reader to the founder of Keller Williams Realty, Gary Keller, and the importance of finding purpose in our lives. Further, we learn how energy and health are interconnected with productivity, but we must first narrow our focus and prioritize. Additionally, rather than a someday mentality, we should break down our “one” thing into what we can accomplish now, this week or in five years. And, by living for the one thing, we begin to exist beyond the scope of our imagination.

If you read this guide to Gary Keller¿s The ONE Thing: The Surpr

If you read this guide to Gary Keller’s The ONE Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Extraordinary Results, you will see why it has a reputation as one of the best management books around.  You might also be surprised at how engaging it is to read, too. I found it to be not just a book giving sound and practical business advice, but also a story with a human at the center -- Keller, telling the personal story of his success where so many others have failed. Truly inspiring!

The One Thing in 30 minutes teaches you way more than just one o

The One Thing in 30 minutes teaches you way more than just one or two things. Although I picked this up as a kind of cheat sheet to the main book, and I definitely got just that, it got me so excited to pick up the whole book. And now I use the review as my go-to guide whenever I need to look up a key term or concept. They are both amazing. And if you think you don’t have the time to read a whole book, this review is perfect and will convince you to read the whole book anyway!

This book is a thirty minute read that writes if you gain master

This book is a thirty minute read that writes if you gain mastery of a skill you can enjoy success. To gain mastery you have to spend hours laboring and practicing with your skill, but if you can do that then it is guaranteed that you will reap the benefits of your hard work. A person who is inexperienced won’t enjoy success because they don’t have the practice required. If you follow Gary Keller’s philosophy of chasing only “the one thing” then eventually you will gain success after you master your skill, and your life.
