A new favorite author! Excellent book!

Great new authors are so hard to find, but I think I just found a new favorite! I had a really hard time putting the book down, as it is so filled with interesting characters and tons of intrigue! I found myself thinking non-stop about the plot and events, trying to see if I could figure out the ending before I read it. I never even came close to figuring out the surprise ending! Also, I loved how the author infused Uzbekistan's culture and geographic features, of which I knew very little about previously. It was a fabulous read, and I will definitely look for future books by this author. His writing style is so clear and uncluttered, and he sure knows how to keep the suspense going. My rave reviews about this book at home made my husband pick it up to read next!

    great page-turner

The Opportunists is a great book for anyone interested in learning more about Uzbekistan or just looking for good page-turner. This is the first book I have ever been able to read cover to cover in one day! The plot and characters make it impossible to put the book down. There are so many twists to the story that I could never predict what was going to happen next.
