This book covers everything an optician needs. I am an experienced optician, but still learned many tips both in creating a better pair of glasses and customer service. We use it in our office for training all new opticians who are hired to insure everyone is trained equally well. This book is suited for the new or seasoned optician wanting clinical skills learned or improved, not for the optician who likes a lot of theory and calculations. There are calculations discussed in the book, but they are few, simple, and the calculations which are the most clinically relevant to the field and used frequently. Highly recommended addition to your library
